Here is a preview of the mohair catnip mice I have for sale on Etsy now.  They are made with leftover scraps of mohair from my bearmaking activites.  I also have some that I have made out of the most heavenly wool from QuiltingAcres on Etsy.  Cats naturally love wool and fur so they adore these catnip mice.  As soon as I make them I have to make sure I place them in zipped baggies so they don't get stolen by one of our feline friends!  These little guys are alot harder to take pictures of than my bears are.  I'm still trying to polish my photos.

New bear this weekend...

I was hoping to finish the bear I was working on to post last weekend but it just didn't happen.  Should be able to put him on EBay this weekend.  He is made from hand-dyed dark apricot mohair and he has a fuller body.  Check back....

Well I have ordered some Cushings Dye to dye some mohair and I can't wait for it to arrive!  I have only used the Kool-Aid method in the past so this will be the first time for me to work with acid dye.  There are sooo many pretty colors available it was hard to choose.  So excited to try it this weekend!

I have been finishing up a bear that I made from one of my older patterns.  I have altered the head a bit and can't tell if I like it yet.  Sometimes I have to let the little guys sit for a while until I decide if they are cute.  Good thing I'm not a mother!  LOL!  So, if he passes the cuteness test I will post him shortly....

I had hoped to post my latest bear this weekend but as usual, I ran out of time.  Too much to do in two days!  He is finished but completely without stuffing.  As soon as I fatten him up I will be posting him on Bear Pile.

I know it has been forever since I have posted any new bears but I should have 3 or 4 to post this weekend!  I had been working Saturdays at my "real" job for many months and I recently decided not to do that any longer.  This leaves me a little extra time to get back to the bear business.  Thanks to everyone who checked in over these long months to look for new bears!!
